s a first-time participant to the HFTP Annual Convention (possibly the first from the Middle East area), I will be looking for all of the insights the event will provide during its three-day agenda later this month. I believe this convention will be the best of its kind (those of an educational and informative nature) and provide tremendous networking opportunities....I have been working hard and far in advance to organize my trip to Orlando, Florida for the convention. I plan to dive into the awareness and networking HFTP is offering to me. The challenge will be to find the answers to the questions that have come to me after becoming an HFTP member and earning my CHAE designation. Ultimately, I'd like to take those answers to other groups of professionals based in the Middle East....Some of the questions I have are:
    ...
  • Why is the HFTP annual convention organized annually?

  • ...
  • What does the convention give to its participants?

  • ...
  • With whom is HFTP partnering?

  • ...
  • Who does HFTP support?

  • ...
  • Does HFTP work on awareness in markets other than the United States and Canada?

  • ...
  • How successful is HFTP and what does it bring to its members?

  • ...
  • How well-organized is HFTP and its network in North America? In the world?

  • ...
  • What rewards does HFTP offer?

Finding out the answers to the above-listed questions and a few others will be the mission of my visit. The journey across continents for #HFTP65 has yet been uncharted in the world of hoteliers in Eastern Europe and the Middle East....I'm eager to dive into the depths of educational sessions, such as Trending Workplace Topics in 2017, Social Media, Social Engineering and the Open Door, Hospitality Readiness for Cloud, Expectations from Upcoming Accounting Changes, and more. The anticipation to attend the sessions keeps me excited and gives me the impression that the event is going to be sophisticated. Full details of the educational sessions being offered at the convention can be found here at Schedule at a Glance....The educational sessions need to be looked at from all angles, up and down, inside and out. Other key teasers of the event  to look forward to are the keynote sessions and table top exhibits....Coming soon to Orlando to dive and discover!  #HFTP65
